Description
MEMFlo FloSentinel flow switches operate with the fluid entering the switch inlet vertically, flowing into the control tube assembly and exiting through the side port. With sufficient flow rates, the fluid displaces the float upward, causing contact closure. The displaced float “uncovers” the flow relief ports, minimizing pressure drop even at flows well above the switch adjustment range. If flow decreases, the float falls and the reed switch contact is lost, causing the alarm condition in most typical applications (low/no flow condition).
